There are many lessons to learn from the victory of the republican candidate Donald Trump in Tuesday US presidential election, a legal practitioner based in the US Mr. EMEKA UGWUONYE has said.
He said during the popular “Today On STV” programme that despite the negative utterances of Mr. Donald Trump on the road to becoming president of the United States, the businessman defeated his democrat counterpart, Hillary Clinton.
He said, “Nobody expected it to be this way. The only thought was that Hilary Clinton’s votes might be narrowed down, we didn't expect Donald Trump to win this election.”
‘It is quiet shocking that republican has an easy victory,” he said.
According to him, the biggest lesson is that educated American thought that Donald Trump was weaker between the two candidates but the voters were thinking different.
Though the Clinton Scandal really pulled her votes, Donald trump apparently resonated well with the average people, but Mrs Clinton turned out not to be favoured by the voters.
Another lesson, according to UGWUONYE is that the election was vigorously and bitterly contested with Donald trump coming with utterances that were very strange, made a lot statements but became victorious.
“The Global partners believe that American elections affects the world, though Europe favoured Clinton but the Americans decided Trump, their system is flexible just to keep their integrity of the republicans accusing Russians of hacking into their system,” he said.
The lawyer also attributed the defeat of Hillary Clinton to FBI Intervention at the later hours, which seriously has damaged the chance of the former US Secretary.
“Hilary Clinton is not popular but has an inevitability quest for the white house. Her role in Libya was a major dent in her career as Secretary of State, that was her dent though on the disaster Libya became, Libya could not have been the worst judgment for her.
Clinton’s inability to secure her private and official status caused her the election.
“The mind of an average American saw Donald trump as a more trustworthy person than Clinton. Comparing the candidates Republicans thought Trump was not the best candidate but he turned out to.
On allegations and scandals
It boils down to the question of the gap between the ordinary person and elites. Donald trump despite his shortcomings appeared to have resonated with the average American people, the average people believes that all Muslims are terrorists but the educated people believes he was saying crap.
