The presidency has described the execution of a Nigerian, Chijoke Obioha in Singapore for drug related offences as heartbreaking.
The Senior Special Assistant to the president on Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Abike Dabiri-Erewa said in a statement that execution was carried out amid calls for Nigerians to avoid criminal activities like drug trafficking.
Chijoke Obioha was arrested in Singapore on April 9, 2007 for trafficking 2.6 kilograms of cannabis.
