Akwa Ibom Governor Lauds Navy For Curbing Sea Piracy

Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel has applauded the Nigerian Navy for curbing the incessant piracy and other criminal activities on the Nigerian waterways.

Governor Emmanuel made the remark during a courtesy visit by the Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Ibokette Ibas, at government house, Uyo.

He pledged the state government’s support to the navy for excellent service delivery.

The Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Ibokette Ibas thanked the governor for his support to the Navy and pledged to make the territorial waterways conducive for business to thrive.
