Militants Bomb Chevron Pipeline

Niger Delta Avengers yesterday, bombed a Chevron, offshore export pipeline at Escravos, Warri South-west Local Government Area of Delta State. The militant group confirmed this in a tweet by its spokesperson, Mudoch Agbinibo.

According to the group, the action is to further warn all IOCs that when we warn that there should be no repairs pending negotiation/dialogue with the people of the Niger Delta, it means there should be no repairs.

NDA had made its intention known two days ago, when it called on President Muhammadu Buhari led government to channel its dialogue towards the group instead of speaking with politicians.

The group said that the dialogue with politicians would not work andd would only sprout its members to embark on fresh vandalism of oil facilities in the region.
