Alleged Money Laundering: EFCC Re-Arrests Fani-Kayode

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission today re-arrested former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode.

This development took place shortly after he had attended his trial at the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos.

No reason was given for his arrest, but it is likely to be connected to the fresh money laundering charges filed against him by the EFCC before a Federal High Court in Abuja.

Fani-kayode, was Director of Media and Publicity in the campaign organisation of ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, and is already standing trial before the Lagos division of the Federal High Court.
