The Nigerian Football Player Mikel Obi  congratulates his teammates for their performance against Manchester United on Sunday.

He stated that he still has  Chelsea at heart despite his lack of first team opportunities in the 2016-2017 Season and shun from his Manager Conte.

After the Nigeria Player returned to Stamford Bridge following his superlative performance at the Rio Olympic where he represented Nigerian U-23 National Team, the defensive midfielder has not been considered in eight straight games in the league and Cup.

He fell out of favour with Antonio Conte when he decided to represent Nigeria in the Competition held in Brazil in August as he skipped majority of Pre-season training.

Mikel tweeted  “Good morning everyone .. well done to the boys yesterday, amazing performance, result and atmosphere , ⚪️ #BlueIsTheColour #MatthewHarding, ” 

Assuming  Mikel was selected to play against Manchester United, it would have been his 250th appearance for Chelsea in the premier League.
