Boko Haram Attack: Some Missing Soldiers Return-Army

The Nigerian army says  a sizeable number of the 39 soldiers declared missing last week have returned.

The whereabouts of the soldiers was unknown after Boko Haram insurgents’ attacked in the border town of Gashigar in Borno.

Theater Commander of Operation Lafiya Dole, Major General Lucky Irabor, stated this while briefing newsmen in Maiduguri.

He said that the military while engaging in ongoing operations to uproot the terrorists from the area, is also focused on rescuing the remaining Chibok girls from the Boko Haram terrorists.
