PDP Warns EFCC On Fani-Kayode's Health

The opposition Peoples Democratic Party has warned the Federal Government to ensure that one of its leaders, Femi Fani-kayode, who is in detention, does not die.

The spokesperson for the PDP presidential campaign organization in 2015, and also a former minister was re-arrested on Friday by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Lagos.

Mr. Jude Ndukwe, an aide to Mr. Fani-kayode, said   the former minister of aviation slumped on Saturday at the EFCC’s facility, but was  promptly revived by a team at the commission’s medical facility. 

Meanwhile the spokesman for the EFCC, Mr. Wilson had said that the former Aviation Minister was hale and hearty, describing the news of his ill health as false.

He said that the minister was seeing yesterday chatting with the former Minister of State for Defence, Musiliu Obanikoro who is also in EFCC custody.

“I saw both sitting and chatting during the inmates check on Monday,” Wilson said.
