D’Banj, better known as KOKO Master won the Best African Legend in the just concluded BEFFTA Entertainment Icon Award at the British House of Parliament.

The Award was presented to him by Lord John Bird for his unique style in music and entertainment.

BEFFTA Awards (BEFFTA  Awards – Black Entertainment Film Fashion Television and Arts)  is a distinctly special awards ceremony honouring the best showbiz and entertainment personalities in the black and ethnic communities in the UK, USA, Africa, Caribbean, Canada and globally.

"Never get tired of introducing yourself, Some people may have selected memory just for the fun of it... I'm D'banj!!!", he said.

Dbanj is currently on tour with a star-studded Afrobeat artistes featuring rising Nigerian Pop star Tekno will be performing with special guests live in Manchester on November 11, 2016, Birmingham November 12 and London November 13.
